In 2022, Aena Internacional was awarded a 30-year concession, with the possibility of a 5-year extension, to manage 11 airports in Brazil, spread across four states (São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais and Pará), including Brazil's second-largest airport: São Paulo-Congonhas Airport.

Aena Brasil began operating the eleven new airports under the name Bloco de Onze Aeroportos do Brasil, S.A. (BOAB) between October and November 2023. The group closed 2025 with 28.6 million passengers, representing just over 12% of total Brazilian air traffic*. Specifically, São Paulo-Congonhas Airport handled 24.5 million passengers, consolidating its second-place position nationally, behind São Paulo-Guarulhos Airport.

In 2019, Aena Internacional was awarded the concession for a 30-year term, with the possibility of a 5-year extension, to manage the Northeast Brazil Airport Group (ANB), comprised of six airports (Recife, Maceió, João Pessoa, Aracaju, Juazeiro do Norte and Campina Grande).

Aena Brasil began operations at these airports in the first quarter of 2020.

In 2025, they handled 16.8 million passengers, representing slightly more than 7% of total Brazilian air traffic*. Specifically, Recife Airport is the seventh busiest in Brazil in terms of both total passenger traffic and international traffic.

On 27 November 2013, Aena Internacional and Aerofi SàRL (“Aerofi”), a subsidiary of Ardian (formerly AXA Private Equity), acquired the concessionaire of London Luton Airport in the UK. Aena Internacional currently holds 51% of the company's capital, with Infrabridge holding the remaining 49%.

Augusta Holding Limited

On 7 May 2026, Aena Internacional expanded its presence in the United Kingdom with the acquisition of 51% of Augusta Holding Limited, which owns 100% of Leeds Bradford Airport and 49% of Newcastle Airport. Since the remaining 49% of Augusta Holding is held by its partner Infrabridge, the operation has enabled both partners to strengthen their long-term strategic alliance in the region.

Leeds Bradford (LBA) is an airport located in north-central England, in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Leeds is the fourth largest city in the United Kingdom. In 2025, the airport handled 4.4 million passengers (Mpax).

Newcastle International Airport (NCL) is located in northeast England and serves as the main airport for the region. Currently, the company that owns and operates the airport is jointly owned by Augusta Holding (49%) and LA7 (51%), a group of seven municipalities in the region that serve the airport. In 2025, the airport handled 5.5 million passengers (Mpax).

Following the completion of the merger by absorption of its subsidiary Aeropuertos Mexicanos del Pacífico (AMP) by its parent company, Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico SAB de CV (GAP), approved in November 2025 and finalised during the first half of 2026, Aena Internacional holds a 6.55% stake in GAP. In addition to this operation, a business combination agreement has been reached, resulting in GAP assuming the management of the Cross Border Xpress (“CBX”) and the provision of technical assistance and technology transfer services.

GAP is one of the largest private airport groups in the Americas, operating 12 airports in Mexico. Specifically, the airports of Aguascalientes, Bajío, Guadalajara, Hermosillo, La Paz, Los Mochis, Manzanillo, Mexicali, Morelia, Puerto Vallarta, San José del Cabo and Tijuana. GAP also holds concessions in Jamaica for Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (through MBJ Airports Limited, with a 74.5% stake) and Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston (with a 100% stake in its concessionaire, PAC Kingston Airport Limited).

In 2025, GAP reported traffic of 63.7 million passengers (57.4 million at its Mexican assets and 6.3 million at its Jamaican concessions), a 2.4% increase over the previous year.

GAP is rolling out an ambitious five-year investment plan (2024–2029) totalling MXP 43.185 billion (2022 nominal pesos), which includes a significant increase in terminal capacity across its Mexican assets, exceeding 50%, as well as various initiatives, with a particular focus on sustainability.
